If you make a link to another website , and a user visits that link, the admin of the other page can view in their Analytics stats where the user came from, or the referrer website/domain. Sometimes, you don’t need the other site to know where your traffic is coming.
Why do we hide referrer websites?
We won’t go into details about why we want to hide the referrer site. We created this service to protect our affiliate generating pages from competitors as well as our partners. It may take time to identify niches that could produce leads in affiliate marketing. This information should be secured to stop others from copying it too soon and threatening you. Thus, taking down the referrer website was one of the methods used.
This service is fast and absolutely free!
How to Use
The following steps will help you to use the hide referrer program.
- copy the following link: “http://iwebz365.eu/hide/?http://www.mywebsite.com“
- edit the “http://www.mywebsite.com” part with the link towards the website you are linking to and you do not want to be shown as referrer (it can be either a domain home page or a deep link / affiliate link; make sure to include the http or https as well)
- paste the newly formatted link in a blog post your website or other websites and each when someone clicks that link, they will be redirected to desired link without transferring any information from the website to which it refers.
